Basically (generally after driving at high revs i.e. motorway) when approaching a junction for example, as i brake and the car is about to come to a standstill the engine will rev by itself as though its about to cut out! Then, as i'm sat there idling i can hear what sounds like the exhaust vibrating on the underside of the car.
I've had the car into MPG in the past and was told it was the exhaust baffles that had gone in the backbox. This may explain the vibrating sound but it doesn't explain why it only does it when my exhaust doesn't have an air leak nor does it explain why the car will rev by itself as i'm coming to a standstill. dunno..
Anyone got any ideas? My exhaust has had numerous leaks over the last 12 months, everytime i get one sorted it either goes again or another one appears! When my exhaust is blowing i never have this problem.
