Hi,
I have just bought a 2001, Y-Reg 2.2 Sri 150 Hatchback. The car suffered a timing chain failure at 94k and was almost instantly replaced by Vauxhall @ Andover.
I was wondering, now that i am aware this is a common thing for this car, that as it has been replaced at 94k, they would have fitted the new kit (sorry, bit of a technophobe so unsure of the correct terms), and that would include everything that means i dont have to worry about it? The failure was a 'Lubrication fault' at the time.
The car is now on 99k and i have just taken ownership so i'm guessing that having done the 5k without a problem, there should be nothing for me to worry about? I hope????
Regards and thanks in advance for any advice and/or help.
John
