last few weeks with the really cold weather i am noticing my car isnt even reaching operating temperature
i use my car daily to go to work for 20 min journeys, i was concerned yesterday so i popped the oil filler cap off and it had a nasty build up of sludge, now before you ask the car doesnt loose coolant neither does the oil dip stick look like milkshake, i actually touched the oil after coming home from work and the oil was like a tepid bath, it wasnt even bloody warm
the cam cover was luke warm as well
so last night i took her for a blast and she struggled to get over 80c but i did notice the sludge buildup had melted and disintegrated some what
i dont think it is a HG problem but i was wondering if there is anything i can do to get the car warming up and operating properly without having to let her idle for 15 minutes
