robo22sri how much will i get from my insurance pay out on my astra? :think: it was a prodrive kitted 2.2, pearl black, with 61k on the clock with a full vaux service history, i know i'm going to have to prove my car is worth more than they offer me 🙁 ! i valued it at 5k with them 3 months ago! i have been looking at auto trader and there is ones like mine for 4k plus :thumbup:
Sjdickso Mine is very similar to yours I would think it is worth around 3.5K but push for as much as you can, i presume you had the pro-drive kit and wheels listed as mods.
sdbutler10 have hmm did u declaire all the pro drive kit? if so then you should get about 4kish maybe a bit more but the insurance company will only pay book price. have a look on parkers or glasses guide
robo22sri there is pro drive kitted ones going on auto trader for 4800! with 45000 miles but no service history! the car was covered with all mods, wheels, lowered, lights grille, brakes, k&n panel filter
sdbutler10 like i said the insurance company wont care u have full service history they will give you book price for the age and miliage of car and a bit more for the mods thats it. me personaly would not claim and just break the car of any bit u can.
JohnnyN The likes of Adrian Flux offer a scheme of an agreed value on the car and in the event of total loss, that value will be paid. I'm not sure if others offer that sort of deal. Most will offer current market value only.
