Good Wash And Wax Plus New HID Convertion Kit!

As the nights are drawing in and the fog is getting worst, i needed to do something about my headlights as they were really crap and hardly put out an light on the roads. A little while back, I upgraded them with ice blue xneon bulbs but even with those, they were not much better. Last week I got my self back on ebay and found a 12000k Brilliant blue HID xneon H7 convertion kit! for only, Buy it now £12.88 plus £20 postage from hong kong! Seller: mototekc

I received them in 6 days and Wow! what a difference! Totally recommended! :thumbup:

The next day i thought id ive give a good wash and wax too! showo..

That does look well, what poducts did you use? How hard where the HID's to fit?

First off i got out my Karcher B503 130Bar pressure washer and filled her up with Auto gylm - Bodywork shampoo/conditionor and foamed her down from top to bottom. I them used Armor all - wheel foam and spayed each wheel, inside and out. I gave her a good going over with the pressured water and left till NEAR dry... I then opened a new packet of microfibre clouths and wiped her dry.

I used Meguilars quik clay ( i do this every 4-5 weeks ) on the bodywork then after i used Meguilars - Gold glass.

On the glass i used Auto glym - Car glass polish

Then the grill, mirrors, window rubbers and tyres i used Auto glym - Vinyl and rubber car.

     I think thats about it...  :thumbup:  :angel:

nice and clean! did the hid kit come completewith ballasts? and what where they like to fit?

Looks very good, you may want to get some super snow foam rather then AG stuff CG maxi suds are good too.

Also you may want to get a big decent WW towel, will be much easier then using small MF cloths.

Just be careful this time of year with clay, if it is hard due to the coldness it can marr.

       Yes! they came with 2 ballasts (complete kit). Because i have angel eye/projectors headlights; they were nice and easy to fit due to having normal H7 type bulbs...  :)
