regarding 2.4 manifold and 2.2 manifold

the O ring should be on the egr pipe and the original clip does hold the 10p coin in place.

the relief valve is correct, nothing to do there 🙂

Im pretty sure thats not a 2.4 manifold. U have link to the ebay auction?

yes mate, im aware its the 2.2 inlet.
i just bought it as the spare so that i can port it.

a ported 2.2 inlet manifold works quite well, about half the power gain of the 2.4 without the drop in torque 🙂

I ran mine for a couple of years before the 2.4 manifold appeared.

im looking forward to getting it fitted.

only thing is its bloody freezin out there! got loads of snow at the mo in birmingham too.

i still need to get an egr blanking plate.

i will also i guess need the egr cheater wiring at some time

vocky, if the egr is blanked off, if i leave the egr valve plug into the wiring will it throw an EML being as its not connected to the engine?

just bolt the egr valve over the side of the blanking plate so it can still open/ close
