Oil usage

Hi,

I seem to be getting an exessive amount of oil coming out of the top breather pipe (going back into the throttle body), on my Vec B 2.2. I have cleaned it several times, to guage when this is occuring and it seems to be worse if I have been on a motorway journey, though does happen at other times.

The problem only seems to have started after I completed an engine flush and oil change, could something be blocked, causing high oil pressure or is it something more mechanical that is worn ?

I do get the egr valve sticking on motorway journeys as well and not sure if to replace for a new one or remove and fit the cheater ?

it sounds like the cam cover needs cleaning, the engine breathing system sits inside it, just soak the cam cover in parrafin or whatever

Hi, I have a similar problem with my astra 2.2,
In my case the oil even soaks the throttle body, and leaks between
the throttle body and the air pipe.
The oil consumption is very high .
