Just had my home insurance renewal through £244 :wtf: so i gave them a call to see if i could get it down but no that was the best quote :o
Anyway i decided to shop the net confused.com etc and couldn't get it any cheaper either?
So I then went onto my current insurers site and looked for a new quote as a new customer and got it down to £190.84 notsure.gif :wtf: showo..
I called the insurance company to make sure i had the same cover and it was all the same. The reason it was cheaper was, for the first year as a new customer you get one of the added extras for 12p for the year then the next year you pay full price for it ( I Suppose they think once it's all in place you will just pay the premium) and you also get a 15% reduction for applying on line
Rant over lesson is always shop around!!!
