Being laser cut, the flanges should be spot on. Right??

Not sure, i am assuming Steve was refering to the Hoffman downpipe but reading it again it does sound like the head flange.

As long as it goes on dead straight you should not have any issues. Yes they are all lazer cut to a high tollerance equal to the gasket. (which is what we used as a sample).

Im not aware of any other issues but if their are any then please let me know so these can be rectified 🙂

There isn't anything wrong with the downpipe. It was mine and it was perfect! ;-)

My flange is extremely bent across its length. As you know when I called you about it, its got a gap of around 4mm at one end and about 3mm at the other.

Yes thats right. Sadly its just not possible to get them totally flat without large expense. Once its fitted and torqued down and it heats up it will settle flat against the head. Just double check the torque of the nuts after 500miles and tighten if required. 🙂

All the manifolds are done, so now were just making the rest of the downpipes up now so i would expect the last 5 orders to be leaving tomorrow 😃

From memory the ports lined up with the gasket, i should have taken a pic.
Mine looked straight, the bolt holes just seemed a bit off.
Access to some of the lower bolts are spanners only as you can probably see from my pic above :p

The hoffman pipe fit like a glove 🙂

Nothing got sent yesterday, they are all made but we got supplied the wrong bolts to include in the kit. The correct ones im told are on the way and if they arrive today all the orders will be sent today 🙂

Its going to get hot, but the standard heatshield should be fine. I dont think their is a need to wrap the manifold.

On the VX220, it's

MANIFOLD,EXHAUST - 24438033
GASKET,FRONT EXHAUST PIPE TO MANIFOLD - 9198091

So I assume it's the same for the other variants.
