I talked to Johnny about EML and sports cats he said that he had seen information about this method of spacing out the second sensor cheers.. .

After reading a bit oubt it looks like this method works really well.

I had a look around and found this picture. Looks very similar to yours.

Have you got a link to items on ebay for other members? or does anyone know where you buy these from in the UK?

You said it cheers.. I have had a look and not yet found anyone that sells them in the UK, they all seem to be USA. I am sure some one will sell them in the uk but may come under a different name (Vocky) might know dunno..

What about if i just fit a longer lambda boss into the downpipe, so the lambda sensor did not stick into the downpipe so far? You think this would be the cure?

I am not that technical but i supose it would be just the same as what they are suggesting with the spark plug non foulers as it is just spacing the sensor away . This may need some input from Vocky or other technical members dunno..

As that is just a spacer to mount the Lambda sensor further from the gas stream, a longer boss will do exactly the same...

Thats what i was thinking. Maybe we have a play with Neils car when it comes back in 2 weeks time 🙂 If it works we can make a boss to supply to people, similar to the ones pictured above.

with the lambda sensor mounted out of the fast flowing stream of gases it gets longer to measure the gases and thus no eml :thumbup:

But where is your heatshield? We had to work really hard to design a manifold that fits with the heatshield and your not using it 😉
