no need for new hydraulic lifters 😛
The problem was mainly that the upper bolt of the right hand cam tensioner (the one hidden behind the cap with the allen key socket) had come/(been left :wave: ) completely loose so the tensioner was clanking around. Also the belt tensioner bearings are very noisy, will have to get a new one of those before the SC goes on.
It's very quiet now sleep.. .. balance shafts re connected, new chains all round and standard exhaust back on sleep.. sleep..
