Due to a change in plan and the drying up of funds I am reluctantly puting it up for sale as is:
Here's the spec:
2002 Vectra 2.2LS
62350 miles (at a close guess)
Manual
Comes in standard trim which includes:
ABS, Traction Control, 4 Airbags (driver, passenger and side)
Electric Windows and Mirrors (mirrors are heated)
Metalic Black (not sure of colour code will check)
Steel Rims 15" with good tyres (had alloys but sold them on)
The problem is as you'd imagine a snapped chain, I replaced it and had it put all back together again only for it to do the same again, now I don't profess to be any good with a spanner and with the help of here and a Haynes manual (which I'll include :lol: ) I found it relatively straight forward to attempt the work myself.
I can't guarentee that I didn't tighten a bold correctly which may have led to this happening again, as to be honest I worked long and hard outside at night, but that's no excuse..
I need to get the car off the front lawn so am offering a perfect project to someone for **£375 **collected from Reading (RG7).
I'll get pics up tomorrow as it'll be dark tonight when I get in.
****EDIT: Has Mot until Aug / Sept 09 had only just passed when the chain snapped.
No Tax though as declared Sorn.
