Well, if its 52 ltrs then its not doing bad on fuel. In the mid 20's to the gallon average consumption. 11.5 gallon tank.

oh really thats not that bad then lol was watch a top gear show to day and it showed a load of super cars and how far the could go on 1 gallon of fuel 1 or the cars only done something like 1.7 miles lol the r8 was the best to have tho lol hows does yours do Johnny would think sc made bit diffrents lol ???

Give your car a real good service, and some nice new blood..... I did this and the results were unreal, it had been 19 months and still had the original fuel filter on from new, so the vauxhall guys had done a top job when serviceing it prior to me owning it! muppets! :thumbup:

Also I can never put more than £45 in mine, thats about 50 odd ltrs?!

problem is that anyone who lives in built up areas with constant traffic congestion then you not going to average of 25 mph meaning fuel consumption is going to be around 20 - 25 mpg

i live near the NEC and the traffic is always bad, if i hit the motorway for a few hours i get more like 35- 40 mpg

How do you know that it only takes 46litres, have you drained it completely and then filled it up to the top?

yeah had the light flashing and then filled it till cant get no more in and 46 ltrs is result

The flashing light is so hit and miss i would not take any notice of that, that doesn't mean you are running on flumes. i too have filled up cos of the flashing light and only put it around 48 litres

never want to chance it though, my luck i will be in middle of nowhere and run out

everytime i fill up my car takes around 46 litres so i wouldn't worry about that.

Also don't forget the colder the weather the more fuel you will be using anyway so i would expect a drop in mpg this time of year

Tyre pressures are always a good place to look at too for fuel consumption.
