Pre cat cheaters?!?

Hi guys, I am not a Z22 owner but have the same problems RE having pre cats on my Y26SE and was directed here by a friend of mine on VVOC.

I have been told that I could fit X25XE manifolds if I fit a cheater for the ECU and was told you guys knew your stuff regards doing this!

the 2.6 ecu monitors the precats, it might be possible to use an O2sim on each precat, but I don't know whether that would work.

What about removing the main cat and leaving the pre cats. If the 2.6 set up is the same as the 3.2 set up in the Vec c then you should be ok. The Vec C only monitors the pre and not the main cat. The car was then sent to have its emissions tested and it came back well within regs, to the point where you could see that he cat was only there to restrict power and not control the emotions. The Idea was actually given to the 3.2 owner by the Engine designer at meeting at Irmscher last year. Ill try and find the thread regarding the de cat.
