a couple of months ago I bought a cylinder head. I wanted to tune it up a little bit and install it then in my engine. But I cancelled my plans and now I want to sell it. As I examined it more precisely I recognized that it is not a Z22SE head.
Now I'm trying to indentify it.
As it is not a Z22SE and definetely not a YH. As you can see it is certainly the head of a L850 engine. We also can exclude the Alfa Romeo engines 1,8 and 2.2 JTS in Brera and 159, because Alfa designed for this engines own heads with twin spark technology.
Whats left then?
The Saab Turbo (Z20NET), the 2,4l and the 2.0 LSJ?
Did I forget one? Can anyone idetenfy it?
I would say its the Turbo head.... but I am not sure.
The 2 main differnces from the Z22SE is the missing EGR flange and the 2 big camshaft bearings instead of one big one on the Z22SE inlet cam.
The new head on the pictures is mine, the old one is an Z22SE.
