engine managment light ON

hey all

what happened is my battery went flat today and after bump starting my engine managment light came on
now every time i accelarate the engine managment light flashes and when i stop it stops flashing but stays on

does any1 know what this could be

it sounds like the ecu needs resetting, disconnect the battery for 20 minutes and fit a fully charged battery back on

tried this 2day mate light still comes on.

got the code 2day code reads p0378 (Timing Reference High Resolution Signal “B” Intermittent/Erratic Pulses) am i doomed or could this be a faulty sensor, car is running smooth doesnt cut out or anything only difference is that the reponce is better.

the z22se has no cam sensor so it might be the crank sensor
