Gears of War 2

This gets released tonight at Midnight. My local Blockbuster store is staying open for people to purchase it

Any one got it then? I almost bought it last night from Sainsburys, they had it in stock for £29, but decided against it, as I won't have any time to play on it until after Christmas, as I'm too busy at work, and won't have enough time to sit and play it long enough.

Its a great game! I got it a couple of days after release and played it right through to the end. I just need an online gaming buddy to help me do it again on "insane" level. lol. Dont buy it your kids though, the mani charecter swears more than me!

Played COD 5 on my mates PS3 and i think COD 4 is better. As for buying this i still have not finished gears of war LOL.

What does that say about me then i have not finished it LOL. Mind you i just can not stop playing Forza 2 even after all this time.

I have seen Army of 2 but not played it but it did look like a worthy purchase. I was told average time to complete GOW was 7 - 9 hrs.

I bought Army of 2, had it for a few months, and never really played it. Traded it in when I got the PS3

Army of two was alright.....but I guess it depends how you play it. I'm a maintenance engineer who works 12 hour night shifts a couple of times a week on average. As we're only there incase anything breaks down, I've got all night fuck the dog, so my shift partner and I used to bring the xbox in and just play games on the 22" lcd desktop screens all night lol. We would buy a 2 player co-op game and finish it in a couple of shifts. The do it again the next week on a harder level. Army of two was a good two player co-op game, but as a single player, theres better titles out there. Another great 2 player co-op game is kane and lynch : dead men.

Matt have you had chance to play GOW2 what do you think?

Kane and Lynch is also a great game in co-op mode with a mate it was tip top and really enjoyed it, but again i never finished it.
