the crank pulleys fit, I have one already :lol: the air intakes could possibly be made to fit, but they are for a lefthand drive car and it's probably cheaper to use a european set up anyway

I also have one of those 4-2-1 headers too, but it requires a new downpipe to be made

the final link is for the cast iron blocked 2.2 not the european z22se, so totally the wrong part

vocky will i actually notice a difference on my car with a ligher pully. i can see a flywheel but not this.

a lighter/ smaller (underdrive) pulley frees up a little bhp and allows the engine to rev better too, not a good idea if you have a big ICE install !

hmm ok thanks vocky i have been wondering as i now has the piper cams if i fit a liaghtend and ballanced fly wheel will my car idle ok and run alright and not still all the time.
if anyone could please tell me.

I have a lightened flywheel, balancer shafts deleted and the underdrive pulley, tickover is fine 🙂

the side effect is.. it revs very easily :lol:

ok thanks for that i want a lightend fly wheel. but i aint going to remove the balancer shafts as i need my car every day which is a shame. unless i could pick up a cheap block or engione then i would do it.

The only problem I found with the lightened flywheel was that I kept stalling the car for a few days. Made me feel like a reet twat until I got used to it!!

It makes a little difference with the revs particularly from 5-6k.

That last link is NOT for a Ecotec or Z22se motor header. Its for a LN2 engine. Not even remotely related to the L61.

Does the alternator pulley from MRZ fit the European alternators? Got a 100Ah.

Do I have any side-affects using an lightweight crank pulley? The OEM one is called "vibration absorber" and has built in some rubber material.

I don't think the Alt pulley fits.
The only side effect I've noticed so far is when I installed my cams, there was no mark on the pulley to set the timing.

Do they have other-type alternators in the US?

This kind of side effect is not a problem to me :thumbup:

yea mate, diff alts.
There was a guy in the states that makes lightened pulleys. He said that he would make some up I he had a sample.
I tried getting an alternator pulley but not luck (without buying an alternator).

I have one. No joke. If someone is interested to take care of this, I would dispose it as a sample.

I suppose, that an alloy pulley for the aircon compressor is not possible because of the magnetic clutch. Right?
