Old news now, but some might not of seen
We’ve got the exclusive first picture of the Aston, so far known only as One-77, because the firm plan to sell just 77 of them.
That will make the hand-built Aston even more exclusive than the £840,000 Bugatti Veyron, currently the world’s dearest production car.
Millionaire owners will be able to create their own one-off interior, working with Aston design staff.
The One-77 is the brainchild of Dr Ulrich Bez, Aston’s Chief Executive, who told his chief designer Marek Reichmann to create the world’s most desirable car.
As well as having sensational looks, the Aston will have supercar performance from a new seven-litre V12 engine, the most powerful the firm has ever built.
There are no official figures yet but sources tell me the One-77 will do 0-60mph in under four seconds and top 200mph, while fuel economy is likely to be under 15mpg.
The hand-built body is made of aluminium with an F1-style carbon fibre chassis to make the Aston super-lightweight to further improve performance.

Aston won’t even unveil the car at motor shows, but instead will show it to potential customers at exclusive clinics around the world.

They expect to start taking orders later this year, and owners should be able to get behind the wheel by the end of 2009.
The firm have yet to decide the name of the car — perhaps I could suggest the Aston Martin 007?
