Hi people, I'm selling a z22se engine from a astra coupe se, it comes as you can see in the pictures. This engine was removed due to the coolant leaking into the oil. This was considered to be a head gasket failure. The head gasket was changed at V-Tuning, the head was cleaned and pressure tested and skimmed, all was well with the head. Unfortunately the problem reoccurred around 1000miles later. We think that this could be due to a small crack in the block which is apparently a common problem with the early z22se blocks. The engine has done around 90'000miles and had a new timing chain kit and water pump fitted around 3'000miles before it was removed. THIS ENGINE HAS NEVER BEEN OVER HEATED.
