Idle and Egr Valve

Could it be the EGR at fault/ sticking; Finding that when I come to a halt car ticks over reasonably then after say 20 secs or so it starts feeling a bit lumpy although when looking at rev counter that is as steady as rock, as said could this be a sticky EGR valve? or do these 2.2's generally feel like this?

mine does it as well

the car hasnt got an idle control valve

could be an air leak or dirty injectors

the egr can cause it but i took mine off and it was even more lumpy 🙂

i got some recon injectors and it is a lot more smoother

also it could well be the coolant temp sensor as well

Cheers mate, don't think I'll bother taking the EGR valve off then, was thinking of running some Greased lightning fuel injector cleaner through the sytem, never know , might help!!
