appy 51 plate vectra wont rev above 500rpm and wont idle when warmed up. ive just done th etiming chain as i was thinking the non reving above 5000rpm could of been the chain a tooth out or so but alas no joy no ecu lights are being shown ( they do work as they both illuminate on turning the ignition on )
appy its not the coil pack fella update.... the customer rang me after travelling home and he says after a few miles its now fine ? i wonder if the engine was in limp mode due to it being a tooth out and after so many miles of being ok it resets back to normal mode. id expect an ecu ligh though if it was in limp mode
MikeS suggest u get a tech2 attached being unable to rev past 5k means it is in limp mode as a result of major sensor fault ie crank sensor, egr valve, tps
