dhunt81 Hi i have an Astra coupe 2.2 se2 on a 52 plate i was just wondering when i have the window down in my car when you change gear the engine sounds like its making like a whoosing sound like a rollar skate wheel with knackered bearings being span round ive been told that all the 2.2`s do this is this true ? Also does anyone have any ideas what websites to visit about stainless exhausts. Cheers Dave
vocky can't say the 2.2 is any different to other engined cars regarding changing gear + engine noise it's probably best to buy a milltek/ magnex/ jetex/ janspeed/ etc stainless exhaust rather than a one off exhaust
dhunt81 Sought of sounds like the engines running over a bit like the revs arnt dropping quick enough when you dip th clutch to change but as i said you can only hear it when the windows open and vauxhall assured me that the car is fine.
