Has anyone ever brought the prodrive mesh?

I need a full bumper for my car. I think the mesh is only about £20 max notsure.gif

vauxhall dont sell the mesh they only sell the bumper as a kit for £300 including the mesh the best thing to do is if you have the original one messure up and get an aftermarket one that what ive had to do cos someone stuck there foot right through it liile sh&ts

Did you geta mesh with yours? Just buy some from a local car shop and cut it to shape :wink:

Prodrive Grill

Hi guys new to the Astra and this forum so you will have to bare with me rallygif

I have just bought an astra with the Prodrive bumper but unfortunatly the mesh was damaged. I got onto 3 dealerships who would only sell me the whole kit for over 300. Some even ordered a grill which they thought was right but upon delivery they changed their minds.

So i didnt give up and i thought right il call prodrive and ask the what the score is.

The do sell them seperate but can only sell to vauxhall dealers. So she gave me an item number to order the grill. So got all excited and called my vx dealer. Guess what the product code didnt work. So yet again i felt like i was pissing in the wind. I called prodrive back and they said rather than mess about they would sell me one from there. They were spot on.

The grill kit costs £58 including delivery and all the screws and the glue.

I need the bumper painting so im gonna get the same dude to fit it for me. jobs a good one.

If anybody would like me to take a pic of the kit then let me know and i will sort one out.....

£58 lot of money m8 should of done what i done and got an aftermarket mesh retail at £20 but i got it for £10 and its exactly the same

My plan with the Pro Drive bumper was to get the grill from a new Micra and make it fit. It looks the same as the Gsi mesh. The Micra mesh section is big enough to make it fit. With me working at Nissan I have been looking at this idea for a while now 🙂

THis is what prodrive told me: Thank you for your email. We can supply the mesh kit for the bumper at a cost
of £37.92 + £7.50 delivery charge.

If you would like to purchase this please send me your full delivery address
which will enable me to raise a proforma invoice which I will forward to you.
Payment can be made by cheque or credit card.

So does anyone else want one??

Just rememer you have to add VAT ontop of that figure.
