Its insurance renewal time for me, lucky sod I know I Know :lol:

Any reccommendations (for companys to try) before I hand over 600 quid to a bunch of daylight robbers.

Ah well, stuck with Elephant and got them down to £520. Suppose thats to be expected after driving company cars for 5+ years.

I actually found Vauxhall to be quite cheap for insurance, they were the cheapest by more than £200 for me.

Only got a years NCB at the moment so everything is pretty expensive for the time being.

Give Flux a bell! Ive been with them a couple of years now and they have been the cheapiest. Although last month they sent me my renewal at £725 :shock: Other companies were quoting me around £615 - £650, got on the phone to flux and they dropped it to £610, then i sent proof of my membership with Astra Sport + Corsa Sport and they knocked another £30 off! So thats a saving of £145 from th original quote!!

Flux were slightly cheaper than Elephant but I had to pay monthly this year so there rate of interest for paying monthly was higher, therefore I was paying more during the course of the year than with Elephant so I stuck with Elephant.

Yes Virgin insurance don't charge interest to pay monthly ( I subsequently found out) but there quote was £1247.00 :shock:

Its a hard bill to swallow is insurance, but it is not going to persuade me to drive a crap car with a lawnmower engine, and neither is Mr Blair going to tax me into a bloody fiat punto. :evil:

Thats all I had as well, and had just turned 21 as well when I took it out. They were £500 cheaper than Liverpool Victoria who I was with at the time

To be honest my brain had gone numb with speaking to insurance companies and filling in online quotes the other night and then the following morning, i just cannot take that level of boredom.

At 29 I think it was more the fact I only had 1 confirmed NCB rather than my age. Some of the excuses were great, like oh its a sporty fast car so thats probably why its expensive notsure.gif fast....yeah not bad......sporty ??? its an LS man it don't come less sporty than that :lol:

adrian flux are bunch of twats, they have no customer service skills whatesoever, your better off talking to a brick wall, and if u need to claim or cancel they are arseholes and demand u to pay the rest of your policy premium, they are great at taking ur money but if you want anything from them you wont get it
