Looking forward to seeing how you fit the climate control, it's been something I've always wanted to have a go at :)
its a right bitch
remove dash
remove dash loom
drain the water
drain the a/c
find all the wires to make it work and solder them in

have to opcom it in as well
will op-com actually tell the car cooling unit it has climate control ? (is it programmable with op-com)
or is going to be one of these op-com not supported things like every other feature on it

I remember someone messing about with a vectra b gsi and enabling climate control using opcom

I don't think they got it working

i did plug in op-com to see if there were any options but the controller is not connected to pin 12 so showed no results

spent the best part of this morning doing a HEMAN on the dash

i opted to leave the loom in the car and then take the dash off it will have to remove the loom to modify it

looks like ive stared somthing that going to take longer than i thought
got to jack the car up now to remove the drain off the air box :(
also what size is the screw in the engine bay loom to body ?
and the doors may have to come off the bolts on the metal beam are 18.6 feet long

18.6 feet long? will the heater box not come out any other way
is that meant to be 18.6 inches long?
yep there way to long what ever there length lol
the only way to get it out is to remove dash and support beam

got it sorted now so i dont have to take the doors off cut the excess off the bolt enuff to remove the beam and clear the door
also had to remove the brake and clutch pedal as they were bolted to the beam
lol
ai556.photobucket.com_albums_ss6_evocarlos1_WP_000347.jpg

there is so much more to do just to get the box out
ai556.photobucket.com_albums_ss6_evocarlos1_WP_000345.jpg

wiper arms off
plastic under the wiper arms
lift car up and drain cooling system
also undo the air box drain screws
drain the a/c if i can find my connecter

and remember the auto levelers ? there now dead had to cut the wires cause like a Muppet i put them thru the support on the beam DOH!
