Good grief ! even more power (y)
Now that you've cut the front panel, how will you stop the bonnet from flying away?

new fan to replace the ac fan
WP_20160903_15_27_43_Pro.jpg

funnelly it just bolts right up to the original mountings
WP_20160903_15_29_45_Pro.jpg

after fitting both the new booster pump and the new main ewp115 pump engine cooling has stabilized and the pumps are not rattling anymore
its still on the hot side and im thinking a combination of the a/t cooler in the end cap of the rad and the honed bores are getting the temp up more than i would like

wish mine would run that hot, sits around 82* unless sat in traffic then goes up to 90*
looking good as always carl (y)
but do you have a automatic transmission cooler in your rad ? with the 4 holes in the thermostat i can set the temp at 70c but it is better to sit around 88c where the thermostat will be fully open :)
its taken a long time to fix the problems and then half way thru i had given up with it so it sat for 3weeks with nothing done ive still go alot to do

which head gasket you running then?
its the gm z20net gasket but the el-ring is the identical part as it appears they do make the gaskets and seal for gm :)

1.4 auto corsa rad so yes it has a cooler built in but its not used as i have a separate cooler for the oil.
the n/a one runs a bit warmer than the charged one.
i'm also running a lower cr than you unless you have different pistons now from the 8.9:1 ones you had?
0.7mm gasket standard block and head. got a b207r gasket that's 0.8mm but not been used yet so probably will be 0.7mm?

My Cr would be higher I have less space with the +1 valves oh and the net gasket is 0.5mm new

mines not a net one, the new one is a saab part and its thicker than the one that came out of the new engine.
got a cometic in at the moment.

both the saab b207 gasket pictured above and the z20net gm one were measured at 0.5mm dont think i will use a cometic again after all the coating came off from the water jacket area

next step for the wiring of the new fan on the front
main fan triggered by the water pump controller the the 2nd fan wired to the same feed
the 2nd relay is so when the ac pump is running the fan on the front is running as it normally would be just need to get a 45ohm resistor to trick the warning light :)
TWIN FAN.jpg

wired in just the earth and trigger to wire in for the 2nd relay
relays.jpg

picked up a new ac condenser the same brand as the new cooling rad so its all clean and new to look at the new fan and new rad made the 11year old condenser stand out alot also 20l of fuel the car ran out when running yesterday lol
